They began producing together in 2008, after meeting each other on a message board, originally being rivals. Hardstyle DJ & producer duo formed by friends Pontuz Bergman & Jon Brandt-Cederhäll from Helsingborg, Sweden. In January 10th, 2020, it was announced Jon was leaving Wasted Penguinz after 10 years and Pontuz would be continuing the project. Wasted Penguinz was born sometime during 2008.

The highly popular duo consists of two artists; Pontuz Bergman and Jon Brandt- Cederhäll. The Wasted Penguinz debuted in the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 in 2012 at #75 and appeared again in the Top 100 in 2013 at #83.
